I know. I’m a bastard. After watching the first one, I’m very excited, but also nervous for the sequel. I’m afraid it won’t be able to capture the atmosphere with as the first. It should be interesting though.
I forgot how much I like this movie.
It wasn’t bad, but probably not worth the money to pay to see it in theatres. The acting was decent, the dialogue was meh, and the direction was alright. It just didn’t have a whole lot of suspense. They attempted to build characters for the first hour and then let the chaos ensue for the last half hour, but the character development wasn’t too good so I didn’t care about them a whole lot.
I know “Chernobyl Diaries” is going to be bad, but I’m pretty excited to see it.
I know most horror fans didn’t like “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark”, but I actually enjoyed it. The movie seemed like a throw back to old horror films. The music and atmosphere was very vintage horror. The young girl was pretty good, constantly upstaging Katie Holmes, even though that’s not too difficult to do.
The “Scary Movie” franchise is stupid, but this is the reaction every character should have in a horror movie. I would bolt in that situation.
