Obligatory Reflection and Resolution Post

2011 wasn’t a great year. I made no films, and it feels like my creativity has dissipated. There were several losses and it was heartbreaking for me, but even more difficult to see the ones I love suffer. I don’t feel like thinking about what’s in the past. It’s time to look to the future.

In 2012, my (sort of) promotion goes into place. I’ll be directing/technical directing the Sunday morning news program. It’s kind of a big deal, for me at least. I will make more films this year than I ever have before. They won’t just be meaningless shorts. Each film will bring express a message I want to convey and I will make it for myself more than the audience. I will have another year with Dustin and that’s the best thing of all.
